Gabe Terry, a Miami, Florida University league football player, was found with 20 grams of marijuana on his person on Friday, news sources report. Terry has since been suspended from the University's football team. Terry was booked into the Miami-Dade County Jail on charges of possession of more than 20 grams of cannabis and resisting an officer without violence. He was later released on $6,000 bail bond. It is not yet known whether Terry has criminal defense lawyer.

According to reports, Terry attended school at Palm Beach Central, where he was on the high school wrestling team. Terry is currently a freshman at the University of Miami, where up until now he played for the college's football team, the Hurricanes. Following his arrest, MFU said they were suspending Terry indefinitely because of the charges. Sources say Terry played in seven games, blocked one punt, and made five tackles prior to the suspension.

Terry's former High School coach commented on the arrest, saying, "I am aware of what happened today and saddened by the event. It's an unfortunate situation. The Palm Beach Central football program will not turn our backs on an alumnus. We will try to help him in any way we can."

According to reports, an officer arrested Terry on Friday, though the details of that arrest are currently unclear. During the arrest, an officer allegedly found 26.8 grams of marijuana in Terry's possession. Based on the charges, Terry may also have been confrontational during the arrest. There is no indication that anyone was injured during the supposed altercation.

In other news, Steffani Lariscy of Volusia County was arrested Thursday after she was accused of stealing more than $100,000 from her employer, reports say. Lariscy allegedly used some of the money to buy breast implants, among other things. Lariscy, 37, was booked into police custody on charges stemming from the incident. It is unclear whether she qualified for bail or hired legal representation.

According to report, Lariscy worked as an accountant for Robbins Camper Sales in 2012; her ties with the company have since been terminated. One of her purported duties was depositing customer's money into the company bank account. So far, Robbins Camper Sales has not commented on the situation.
