Three Southwest Miami-Dade, Florida residents were arrested Wednesday for allegedly growing marijuana in a county home, news sources indicate. The three suspects, who were not identified by name in public reports, were booked into police custody on unspecified charges. An investigation into the alleged grow house is ongoing; police say they have seized several live marijuana plants from the premises thus far. It is not yet known whether the defendants qualified for bail bond or hired defense lawyers.

Police located the alleged grow house off Southwest 64th Street and 80th Avenue, reports say. It is not clear how police were cued into the presence of the grow house, whether by a tipster or via some other means. Members of Miami-Dade County's drug division executed a search on the home and reportedly found what looked like parts of a disassembled hydroponics lab, sources say. The detectives seized a number of marijuana plants from the home, but it is unclear how many plants were found.

The details surrounding the case are not yet available; however, detectives took a woman and two men into custody during the search, reports say. It is not yet known what role the trio may have played in the alleged grow operation.

In other news, a woman in Delray Beach, Florida was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly set a hookah lounge on fire, reports say. The suspect, 29, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on charges of first-degree arson. Her bail was set at $10,000 and it is not yet known whether she has hired legal representation.

Reports say the suspect had been staying at the Ali Baba's Hookah Lounge on South Federal Highway in Delray Beach prior to the alleged incident. The owner of the lounge had reportedly been letting the woman stay there because she had nowhere else to stay, sources say. It is not known what led to the woman's allegedly homeless state.

On January 1, just before 1:00 a.m., the suspect was at the lounge drinking with a small group of people. When the crowd left, the suspect later told police, she and an employee at the lounge stayed behind. She told police the employee gave her some vodka and a part of a joint. Afterwards, the suspect claims she began to feel drugged and could not maintain control over her body. The suspect claims that the employee sexually assaulted her and photographed her naked against her will while she was in this state.
